Jack Evans headed to Culham MX Park in Oxfordshire on the weekend of July 20th & 21st for the fourth round of the Bridgestone British Masters.
After some crashes and general mistakes that kept Jack away from hitting his goal this weekend. Jack managed sixteenth overall in a stacked out 125cc class.
Hear how the weekend went for Jack below.
Tough weekend at Culham racing as a wildcard in the fourth round of the Bridgestone British masters. Jack raced in a stacked class combined adult and youth 125cc riders. The track was prepped well and rutted quite deep.
Saturday morning qualifying took place Jack managed to qualify in 19th position after his clutch lever going rock hard. Quickly a new clutch lever was put on ahead of the gate dropping for the first race of the weekend. Unfortunately it became apparent Jack had no front brake to deal with for the entire race, which you could imagine made riding the track even more challenging but managed to go over the finish line in nineteenth position.
Jack then lined up for the second race of the day, unfortunately two laps into the race it was red flagged and postponed until Sunday.

We move to Sunday for the final day of racing at the popular circuit. The first race of the day was the best result of the weekend for Jack with 14th overall, which was the postponed race from Saturday afternoon due to the stoppage.
Next up was the second moto of the race. Jack was running in 14th during the race but made a couple of mistakes and fell off. After coming back from this moment in the race he managed to cross the line in 17th.
The third and final race was up next after a small off Jack glove slipped off and lost a few places but managed to recover to 17th position for the race. Overall for the weekend it was 17th place but tied on points for 16th.
”Wasn’t the best weekend, as I was hoping for top 15 in the stacked 125cc class. Crashes and general mistakes kept me from hitting the goal. We move onwards and upwards to the next event. Thanks as always to the Nora CRS Team, team sponsors and my personal sponsors for all their support. It was great to see some of the other Nora CRS team riders, Jojo Horn, Lewis Bethell and Mitch Conway racing at the weekend and thanks to Gemma from Nora Motorsport who supported the team on Sunday.”
