Team rider Jack Evans headed to Oxford Moto Parc for the first round of the 2025 NPC – Pro MX Championship Fuelled by Gulf Race Fuels. After two days of outstanding racing and 5 moto’s, Jack managed to walk away with a third overall in the MXY1 Futures Class.
Here is how the weekend went from Jack’s perspective.
First time riding at Oxford MotoPark. And what an awesome track it is! Great to be representing NORA CRS Development Team with some of my team mates.
My starts were pretty good throughout the weekend and I rode consistently in all 5 motos with my fitness staying strong in all the long races.
Saturday
Qualified in P6, both 125 and 250 classes together
Race 1- P3
Race 2 – P2
Race 3 – P4
Finished 3rd overall at the end of Saturday. With only 6 points separating 3rd and 4th place, I knew I had to work hard on Day 2 to get on the podium.
Sunday
Race 1 – P4
Race 2 – P3
Managed to maintain 3rd place overall by just 2 points. Great way to finish the weekend and on to the first round of the Motul ACU British Championship at Hawkstone Park next weekend.
Thanks as always to the NORA team for supporting me at the weekend and to all the team and my personal sponsors.
