This weekend racing was only on Sunday as we decided to enter the final round of the Corsham Championship at the newly revamped Marshfield. It’s my first time back at Marshfield this year and its had a major revamp and its another meeting with Big wheels and Small wheels in together.

Practice went good got second fastest lap time but not much in the time difference. I enjoyed the new layout I think its improved the track its more technical than it was before.
First race of the day I was feeling good and eager to race. I had a good start second around the first corner pasted first on the first lap to take the lead. Two laps from the end I got passed putting me second but I was not going to give up that easily then two corners before the finish flag I passed him back, battled right to the finish line with me taking the chequered flag and knocking 3 seconds off my lap times and setting the fastest lap of the race.

Second race my reaction time to the gate was great, first around the first corner but I had alot of heat on my back wheel. Half way through the first lap I got passed. I was still right there with the leader when I crashed, I got back up pretty quickly but my bars was so badly twisted I had to pull over to get them straighten which cost my valuable positions dropping outside the top 15. Once I was back going I got my head down to make my way back though the pack. I battled my way up to 6th by the end of the race but I was second out of the Small Wheels.

Due to two bad crashes in my race racing was stopped as the needed to wait for the Air Ambulance and due to the time getting on the difficult decision was made to only do two blocks. I wish the injured riders a speedy recovery. I finished joint first on points but because of the second race I got 2nd overall.
