JACK EVANS HEADED TO WARMINGHAM LANE TO WILDCARD AT THE AMCA CHAMPIONSHIP!

AMCA Championship 18-19th May – Warmingham Lane, Cheshire

Headed up north to Warmingham Lane to take part as a wildcard rider in the AMCA Championship last weekend. With the Adults and Youth 125 classes together, the racing was going to be fast!

Saturday– qualified P6 in the 125cc class – 1st in the 125 Youth, which set me up for a good weekend.

Race 1 – had a good start and was running well in the pack. Finished P6 in the race, P2 in the Youth

Race 2 – got bunched off the start and came round the first corner 3rd from the back. Fought my way through to 9th but crashed and lost 20 seconds. Finished 10th in the race, P5 in the Youth

Sunday
Race 1 –
started on Sunday morning with a podium place in sight. Had a good solid 1st race and finished P7 in the race, P3 Youth. It was so hot that I threw up after the race!

Race 2- great start- was in 3rd around first corner when my chain snapped going up the first big table top. Unfortunately, it meant that I DNF the race.

I was gutted because after qualifying so well, I was hoping to grab a podium place but it wasn’t to be.
But my fitness training with Coach Robb is making such a difference and helping in the heat.
Good to be home safe and sound, and on to the Acerbis at Hawkestone next weekend.

Thanks as always to Nora, the team and personal sponsors
