Jesse James grabbed 5th overall at Cotswolds!

Fantastic Weekend at Rushwick with Cotswold Youth Motocross Club for Jesse !!

Race 1 P6
Jesse always rides a sensible first race to settle in track and conditions. He’s not the biggest fan of a freshly soaked track which it was. He rode a clean race and came in with some good lap times.

Race 2 P3
He got out of the gate really well heading for the first corner narrowly missing the corner pile up and headed off with the front boys where he stayed even though there was a lot of pressure from behind he kept his cool.

Race 3 P4
Left the gates not a great start so he found himself fighting though the pack and making some nice passes on both Big Wheels and Small Wheel riders. He chose to use lines in the track others were avoiding to his advantage.

Sunday
Race 1 P6
Pulling up to the gate we’d gone from 36 riders to 42 the start line was very busy he knew as long as he could make the corner clean he would be ok. There was a lot of traffic so he found he was having to battle with the big wheels throughout different parts of the race.

Race 2 P3
Points were tight so he knew the boys would be after him in this race. So he kept his head down and made some impressive passes. He kept completely cool and stuck to the job at hand.

Race 3 P4
Pulled up to the gate the race started only to be red flagged for a couple of riders who are all ok. They then re run a 10min sprint race which sent all the riders into a panic. Jesse rode an amazing race considering the amount of pressure only to be t-boned 3rd corner from the end which lost him p3 . He managed to hang on to hold 4th.

Overall 5th Cymx really happy with that. The progression is really starting to show !!!
