Mitch Conway takes the top step with AMC Promotions at Bromyard!

Top of the box for Mitch at Bromyard.

This weekend we decided to keep it local, after the long drive to and from School House MX, with the Bridgestone Masters, last week.

The event was being run by AMC Promotions and despite Saturdays practice being dry & fairly dusty, the overnight and early morning downpour created difficult conditions for Sundays racing and this obviously put off a few riders who were weather watching. I was third group out for qualifying practice and managed to get decent track conditions, enabling me to get a good run and qualify in first position.

The weather improved and meant that the track was ideal for my first race and after a decent start, I pulled through to the lead by the second corner and increased my lead by 18 seconds at the finish.
By the start of the second moto, it had started to rain again and the track got pretty slippy, but I used Olly Hadlow`s starting blocks and pulled the holeshot. I then lead from start to finish again, winning by nearly a minute.

We then had another downpour and the race organiser decided to stop the meeting after 2 blocks of racing.

I generally felt good for the day, despite the dodgy weather and was please to get my first win of the season.

Thanks to the NORA CRS team and all the associated sponsors for the support.
