Rafe Symons Commands the Track with a Stunning 6-for-6 Perfect Weekend!

NORA CRS Development Team rider Rafe Symons delivered a season highlight performance over the weekend, putting on a masterful display of speed, resilience, and racecraft to achieve a spectacular clean sweep of all six race wins.

With the perfect weekend behind him, Symons has proven he is in peak form as he prepares for the highly anticipated final round of the ACU MXGB British Championship at the iconic Foxhill Moto Parc this coming weekend.

Day 1: Perfect Precision in the Small Wheel Class

From the moment the gates dropped on Day 1, Symons made his intentions crystal clear in the Small Wheel (SW) 85cc category.

  • Race 1: Rafe rocketed off the line to secure a textbook holeshot. From there, he found an effortless flow around the circuit, enjoying every inch of the track as he led comfortably from gate to checkered flag to claim his first P1 of the weekend.
  • Race 2: Showing his tactical maturity, Rafe rounded the first corner in second place. He spent the opening laps shadowing the leader, systematically closing the gap and applying relentless pressure. Once the opportunity arose, he executed a clinical pass, pulled an impressive gap on the field, and crossed the line for another dominant victory.
  • Race 3: The final race of Day 1 tested Rafe’s resolve after a poor start left him with work to do. Refusing to panic, he got his head down and carved his way through the pack, seizing the lead within the first few laps to complete a perfect opening day.

Day 2: Combined Classes and Next-Gen Matchups

On Day 2, officials combined the 85cc Small Wheel and Big Wheel classes. This provided Symons with much-needed competition and an exciting preview of next year, as he is set to graduate to the Big Wheel class next season.

  • Race 1: A difficult launch saw Rafe buried in roughly 8th place overall in the combined field, though he held 2nd among the Small Wheels. Displaying his trademark grit, he worked his wheel meticulously through the heavier Big Wheel traffic, hunting down his rivals to take another P1 finish for the SW division.
  • Race 2: Sharpening his focus on the starting gate, Rafe dialed in his execution and claimed another brilliant SW holeshot, controlling the pace seamlessly from the front to lock in win number five.
  • Race 3: Driven by a fresh skip in his stride, Rafe repeated his flawless execution in the finale. He claimed his sixth consecutive victory of the weekend, proving that his upcoming transition to the Big Wheel ranks next year will likely yield results just as impressive as this season’s triumphs.

Eyes on the Prize: Foxhill Finale

It was a stellar, confidence-boosting weekend for the young NORA CRS Development Team star. While Day 2 highlighted a few areas to fine-tune regarding starting consistency against the bigger bikes, a 6-for-6 clean sweep is the ultimate statement.

All eyes now turn to the final round of the MXGB British Championship at Foxhill Moto Parc. If this weekend’s performance is anything to go by, Rafe is fully prepared to sign off his regional campaign in style and take on the absolute best on the national stage.
