Top 10 finish at Brookthorpe for Jack Evans

It was a busy weekend for Nora CRS Development rider Jack Evans at Brookthorpe with the Severn Valley Motocross Club on July 13th & 14th, ending the weekend with seventh overall after some early on bike problems during the first moto of the weekend.

Hear from Jack on how his weekend went below.

Saturday

Track conditions were unreal and my starts were pretty decent considering the amount of 250cc rider I was up against in a 40 plus rider class. Saturday during race one I experienced some problems with my bike so unfortunately had to pull out and take a DNF.

For the remainder of the weekend I used the spare bike where I managed to finish in 4th overall in race two but the 2nd 125cc rider over the finish line. Race 3 I walked away with a 2nd place finish, meaning the first 125cc rider in the group.

Sunday

We moved to the final day of racing at Brookthorpe. The first race of the day I pulled the third fastest lap time of 2:05.456 and finished the moto in sixth (2nd 125cc rider). Race two managed to be the first 125cc rider over the finish line and 5th overall for the race. The third and final race of the weekend on the unreal conditions of Brookthorpe I managed a second place finish (1st 125cc rider).

I was really happy with how I rode over the weekend. My starts, fitness and intensity were all there to give me the 7th overall for the weekend and 3rd overall for Sunday results.

I would like to thank Andy Watts for coming along to support on Saturday, as well as the Nora CRS team, team sponsors and my own personal sponsors for everything they do.
