It seems a long time ago since my first race of the 2023 Season in the EMX 125 class at the Hawkstone International in February which gave me a great benchmark, in a strong field, for the season, particularly having just come back from a broken shoulder sustained through the winter.
The 2023 season, which is my final one racing in the youth class, has turned out to be a really positive one competing in The Bridgestone British Masters, Cotswold MX Club, Master Kids, Nora British Cup as well as representing Cotswold at the Nora Team event.

Overall I am pretty happy with both my results and the way I have ridden throughout the season. I finished 7th overall in the Bridgestone British Masters MXY2 class, a respectable result against mainly 250s, won the Cotswold MX Youth class, finished 2nd Overall in the 125 class at MasterKids UK, took 5th place at the Nora British Cup and took 5 wins out of 5 at the Nora Team event to win the Youth class and help Cotswold Club to 3rd overall.
Being part of the Nora CRS Team in 2023 has played a massive part in my development, performance and results throughout the season. Working with Coach Robb since August 2022 has undoubtedly had a positive effect, not only focusing on my fitness and training but it has had a great influence on race and practice preparation as well as ensuring I have the correct mindset. The initial data collection and analysis may have seemed a lot of work but 6 months down the line I was reaping the benefits in my training programmes, knowing exactly at what levels and intensity I had to focus on in my daily training plans. My race fitness and preparation process has been the best they have ever been.

After a pretty packed racing season, I have been taking things a little bit easier for a few weeks. Focus now moves to winter training and plans for 2024 where I will be moving up to race the adult MX2 class in both the Bridgestone British Masters and the Nora British Cup championship, as well as supporting Cotswold MX Club. I will moving on to a four stroke and competing on a Husqvarna FC250, which I have already been getting used to over the last few weeks. It is great to again have the support of Nora CRS and all the sponsors for the 2024, continuing to benefit from the expertise of CRS with Coach Robb and really looking forward to be able to draw on the vast high level experience and knowledge of Stephen Sword as the team Riding Coach. It will also be great to spend some time with the rest of the team at the planned launch days and training camps. Bring on 2024!!
