George Goodwin – 2023 Re-Cap!

2023 was my first full season of racing, I took part in two championships, Peterborough junior motocross club and Kensworth school boy motocross club. The 2023 season started off great and I was getting good consistent results in the 65cc class. Around July of 2023 I decided to make an early step up to the 85cc small wheel class, my first race in the 85 class I got the holeshot and came 3rd place, this was definitely a big achievement for me and a huge confidence booster moving up a class.

Some of my highlights of the 2023 include my first race of 2023 and getting my first podium finish, winning rider of the day at round 6 of Peterborough motocross club, getting to ride some mega tracks in Belgium and spain, And of course being accepted to the Nora CRS team!

I’m planning to use the current off season to work as hard as I can to be a faster, stronger rider in 2024. I’m training weekly at tracks and started doing some off bike training in the gym to help. I feel with the backing of Nora CRS and coach robb with massively increase my chances achieve this.

My current race plans for 2024 include Dursley championship , Nora ‘92 cup, master kids and to continue the championship with Peterborough junior motocross club.

My goals for the 2024 season are to complete championships with a top 6 finish, be more of a competitive rider and of course have as much fun as I can doing this sport. I feel with the backing of the Nora CRS and the guidance and help of coach robb these goals will be achievable
