Last weekend saw Joseph head to DMP for a race weekend with YMSA.

Saturday was practice day, this turned out to be a good day. Not happy with the bike in his first two sessions we made a few adjustments. Now happy with the bike set up Joseph was able to get some good practice laps in, satisfied with everything we headed into Sunday race day with confidence.
With both rider and bike all cleaned and refuelled we headed out for race one. With a good start Joseph rode one of the best races he had ever ridden, battling with 5 riders for the hole race positions changed lap by lap and with an unfortunate slip on the second to last lap saw him finish 18th. Unhappy with the finish position in race two Joseph headed into race two determined to do better.

With another good start and some great passing manoeuvres over the jumps Joseph continued to ride in a strong aggressive style which saw him finish 10th. With this riding style Joseph continued to battle through race three finishing with an 11th place and ending up 11th overall. Well done that boy.
