Last weekend saw a little trip out to Landrake Mx for the Nora Cup. With just a 7 hour and 350 mile drive Joseph arrived at Landrake Mx and instantly liked what he saw. The track and venue looked amazing. After parking up with his Nora Development team he headed out for a track walk.

Sunday was qualifying followed by two races. Qualifying wasn’t the best for Joseph ending up P21. As the rain continued to fall Joseph headed out for race one. With a positive start Joseph headed out round the first couple of corners in a good position only to be halted by a fallen rider which dropped him well down the pack. With race mode on Joseph got himself settled in to the race and continued to pick up places during the race which saw him finish a respectable 14th.
Race two saw yet another good start and with some more of his new found riding style saw Joseph battling mid pack. As the last lap flag came out and running in 15th Joseph had managed to keep his distance from those behind him, that was until half round when he was passed by the bike behind him. This did not go down well with him, Joseph then pushed like crazy through the last four corners and over the last jump to regain the position right on the line. Absolutely amazing.

Monday saw beautiful weather conditions for the last two races of the weekend.
Race three saw a hectic start and Joseph getting bumped from all areas. This really didn’t faze him too much but it meant the front runners were able to get away from him. Still riding with a positive attitude he managed to pull back a few places and finished 17th. Again the same sort of start for the last race and again a big battle to pull back places but with this never say never attitude he continued to battle on, and with this positive attitude saw him finish 16th.

So this left Joseph with a 15th overall for the weekend. Happy with the result he headed back to Yorkshire a very happy boy. This weekend has to go down as one of the best organised event’s he has ever been to. Bring on round two.
