Aiden Wait: Looking back on the 2025 Season

The final rider of the team to discuss his 2025 season in his end of year review is Aiden Wait who ends the season onboard his Big Wheel 85cc. As Aiden prepares for the 2026 season with joining the NORA CRS Development Team, he also prepares for the move up to the 125cc class.

Read how the 2025 season went for Aiden below including his look ahead to the 2026 season.

2025 was to be my last year in the Big Wheel 85cc class. I was looking forward to racing with different clubs and trying out some new tracks that I hadn’t ridden before.

I used my pre season to train hard working on my strength and fitness ready for a strong start racing. My season started positive and showed in my results, podium finishes at Frocester and Grittenham with Corsham Motocross Club and even a race win at Saintwells and a holeshot at Round 1 with Rhayader.

The first few rounds of the NORA92 British Cup were not so straight forward with bike issues at Landrake and then the engine seize during qualifying at FatCat Moto Parc I had to work hard to fight though the pack after some bad starts and keep pushing to the end of each race. I finished 6th overall after all the rounds and it was more than I could of hoped for after such a bad start.

I continued to work hard for the rest of my Championship with Corsham and was so happy to finish 1st overall and was given the opportunity to be part of their team at the NORA Motorsport Team Event. I didn’t make it to presentation to receive my trophy unfortunately as I’m currently resting after having and accident while practicing and fracturing my humerus.

I’m keen to get back to my training both on and off the bike ready for next season, having secured places in the Plews Tyres British Masters, NORA92 British Cup and MX Master Kids UK. I have a lot of work to do and am excited to do it with the help of Coach Robb and the team at NORA CRS Development. Thank you to my parents and all my sponsors who have supported me this year.
