Freddie Joyner was back in action for a full-on motocross weekend, kicking things off on Saturday at Bromsberrow with Severn Valley Motocross Club before heading straight into a day of practice on Sunday at Cheddar MX Park. With tough conditions and strong competition at Bromsberrow testing both rider and bike in the sand, Freddie dug deep to put in some motos. There was no slowing day on Sunday also with a full day of practice to keep building on speed, confidence and consistency on the bike, making the most of every lap as the season continues to grow in momentum.
Read Freddie’s race report for the weekend below.

Saturday morning I headed to Bromsberrow for a days racing in the sand with Severn Valley. The weather was dry and with a stacked line up I was ready to race.
Race 1 – Great start out the gate and was running top 5, I dropped back a little as it was rough from the start but pushed hard moving up the pack and crossed the line 5th. Very happy with that as lots of riders were dropping like flies from the conditions.
Race 2 – Another great start! Straight out the gate and was running 4th for the first few laps, I stayed up top and consistent but my team mate Theo took me near the end. I stayed close to him but couldn’t get him back, finishing with another 5th place.
Race 3 – They shorten the race to just 3 laps as the sun was setting so knew I needed another good start, unfortunately a worst start of the day but stayed consistent in 7th place, not having time to make passes, I crossed the line in 7th place.
Happy with my results as sand isn’t favourite to ride in, but enjoying it a lot more this year. Great to be on the gate again with my team mates. Sunday I had a nice chilled practice day at Cheddar MX Park. Getting them laps in ready to get behind the gate again for next weekend.
