Last weekend Max headed to Bromsberrow with Severn Valley Motocross Championship for the opening round of their 2026 Club Championship. Read Max’s race report below.

On Saturday we headed to Bromsberrow for the 1st round of Severn Valley MXC Championship. The first thing I did when I got to the track was I went and walked it. I went down to the line for practice feeling calm and ready to ride. In practice I felt like I rode good but I needed to make up some seconds to be in the mix. After practice I refreshed and thought about lines on the track and where I could have gone faster. I went down to the line for race one feeling a little bit nervous!
Race 1 – I had a top 10 start and halfway through the race I made up some positions putting me into 8th and that’s where I finished.
Race 2 – I had a really good start running in 8th until last lap where I made a mistake and ended up finishing 9th.
Race 3 – I was nervous as it was a 3 lap dash and I usually like to build up as the race goes on. I had a bad start, managed to make up some positions but didn’t have enough time to catch up to the pack, so ended up 13th.

Sunday started off as a good day practice was good finishing 10th.
Race 1 – had a really good start nearly having the hole shot but backed off to early and got pushed back. I made a few mistakes putting me in 7th.
Race 2 – had a descent start again. Rode in 7th for most of the race but was chased down and lost 2 positions, ended up 9th.
Race 3 – Another 3 lap dash! On the start I didn’t have the best jump out the gate but pushed through coming out around 10th. The 2nd lap I made up some positions but lost them again as got stuck behind a back marker, so finished the race in 10th position. Overall a good weekend of racing. Finished 8th overall for the weekend and 3rd overall for Seven Valley.
