Joyner Battles Hard in Packed Big Wheel 85cc Class at Brookthorpe

We headed to Brookthorpe on Saturday for Round 3 with Severn Valley, some good riding and a brutal finish for me with a stacked class of 85 Big Wheel riders.

P6 in practice, feeling good and feeling my flow on the track.

Race 1 – I got a good gate pick on the inside and had a great start and was up the top pushing for them places, sitting in 4th I could feel 5th place on me after a few laps, battling back and forth I finished P5.

Race 2 – I had a similar if not better start and was starting up the top again, comfortably 5th place a raced hard and stayed consistent keeping my 5th place finish.

Race 3 – Best start of the day! Second round the corner, first lap in I got my head down and pushed hard until I cross rutted and the bike sent me flying, resulting twisted bars. The fight was in me and I made sure I was going to finish this race. Getting back on and sitting in last place I was determined to get fight back in this race. Pushing hard and ticking off them places I crossed the line P18 out of 36 riders.

Ending the day with 7th overall!
