Little Silver Belonged to Ronnie Morgan After Three-Race Blitz

Saturday we went to Little Silver with Corsham, we haven’t done a Corsham meeting with them for a long time was nice to see some familiar faces and have a catch up plus we haven’t been to Little Silver for over a year and its on my race calendar for the Nationals.

Practice started off really wet so just before I went of for practice the digger was on track scraping the slop off some of the corners, because of the condition of the track the steep hills were going to be challenging but I was keen to get out on track. Practice was good and I was confident and looking forward to race 1.

Race 1 – I was second around the first corner and got into 1st by the second corner. The track had dried out at this point but there wasn’t much line choice yet. I was riding control and checked out with 24 second lead on second place of Travis Meese.

Race 2 – A holeshot for me. The track had become dry and hard but I managed to set another fastest lap time and lead for the whole race to take the second checked flag of the day.

Race 3 – The track had become really dusty and very windy which made for some challenging riding conditions but I got into 1st again and pulled away from the pack. Another race win with a 17 second lead.

I was very happy with my 3 race wins, holeshot and my lap times were good. The meeting ran smoothly and I enjoyed catching up with my mates and making some new ones. Hopefully fit some more race days in with Corsham throughout the season.
