Headed to Marshfield with Dursley on the weekend, it was a bit of an up and down weekend for me but this is how it went…
Race 1 – Didn’t get a great gate peg so was pretty much last to pick a gate, pulled of ok wasn’t the best and knew I could do much better starts, overall my riding was ok and just remembered not to give up! Finished 8th.
Race 2 – My start was awful! I was so ready to get a better start but unfortunately my foot hit my starting block resulting in it ending up under my bike making me nearly fall off so was pretty much last to leave the gate! Was really annoyed and pushed as much as I could. Finished 11th.
Race 3 – Knew this race was all or nothing again my start wasn’t great nearly hit the gate obviously to eager to get out on this one!! But I really pushed and it paid off as I came in at 4th.
Overall finished 6th so was happy with this.
I know there was definitely things I could of done better but onwards and upwards and learn from mistakes.
