I went into 2023 with high hopes as it was my last season on a 65.
The start of the year was incredible but unfortunately my season was cut short due to a fluke accident resulting in a bad break to my leg and 4 months off the bike. They were a long hard few months. But I have come out of it a stronger person and hungrier for more!!

I set myself some challenging goals for the 23 season! They were to qualify for the British championship and finish top 5 in my club championship. And I’m pleased to say that I did just that!! I qualified for the British and finished 2nd in the dursley championship. I’m still so gutted I didn’t get to compete at the British rounds, I found out 2 weeks after the break so it was a bit of a blow but taking the positive of actually qualifying. I’m really proud of myself!

Some more amazing things happened despite the accident, I was the only girl to make it to A group at the Nora masterkids, finishing in the 20s at the 2nd round of the Bridgestone masters, achieving 2nd at the girls national and of course being selected to be part of the Nora CRS development programme.

2023 didn’t end how I planned but it was incredible and I’m so excited to work alongside the Nora team next year and continue to improve for my first year on the 85. Winter training is due to start in December and the off bike training keeps growing strong. I will give 2024 everything I’ve got!!
