Rafe headed to Wroxton with Ringwood MXC on Sunday 15th June. After some years of the popular circuit being closed, it was great to get back racing at the circuit. After three impressive motos, Rafe ended the day on the podium with a 3rd overall.
Read how the day went for Rafe below.

This weekend we headed to Wroxton, having always wanted to ride there and only recently been given the chance, we were excited to see what was in store.
The track layout was awesome and it was very well prepped.
The aim of the day was to be consistent and try and not to repeat the Sunday before. Rafe headed out for practice and came back with a smile on his face, excited for the day ahead.

The Small Wheel and Big Wheel raced together, giving a big line up, but were scored separately.
Race 1 – Quick as a flash Rafe roared up the hill to the top of the start straight, he rounded the corner with the top 6 riders and they flew along the straight and over the first set of jumps. He settled into race mode and rode consistently, tacking the big jumps and clearing the triple with ease. Like clockwork, he ticked off the laps and crossed the lined with a deserved third place.
Race 2 – Lighting quick reactions Rafe had another cracking start and quickly settled into third place and just as he was about to finish the first lap, a rider fell in front of Rafe causing him to divert from the race line, this cost him dearly as he dropped from third to fourth. He spent the remainder of the race trying to move up into third, but could not make the pass.
Race 3 – Rafe knew if he could bag another third place, he would be third overall for the day. He prepped well for the race with the aim to be consistant. Another flying start, the determination in Rafe was obvious and as he clocked up the laps, he set a good distance between himself and the rider behind who also had their mind set on achieving a podium finish. He settled into race mode and laped up the corners and jumps, overtaking backmarkers with caution, seeing the last lap flag, with one last push, the podium finish was his.
A well deserved result for Rafe and we thank NORA CRS Development team and Sponsors for their help week in and week out, the results from the past 24 months are showing in each and every race.
Next weekend will be spent at the MXGP watching the pros followed by midweek racing at The Monster Masters held at Monster Mountain.
