Top 15 finish at Hawkstone Park for Jack Evans

Jack headed to Hawkstone Park last Sunday for the opening round of the 2025 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship. With it being the first round of the 2025 season Jack went with two goals in mind.

1. To get top 15 in the stacked 125 class with some of the best riders in the country

2. To improve on my Hawkstone International result – both in position and lap times.

Here is how the day went from Jack’s perspective:

The racing was long and tough, with 20 minute plus 2 laps races and the track lived up to it’s brutal reputation.

Qualifying – Qualified in P11, with 4 riders in front of me within same second of lap time.

Race 1– My start was ok but made a mistake on the 3rd corner allowing 3 or 4 riders to get past me. Came round in 13th which is where I stayed for the whole race.

Race 2– I didn’t have the best start. Came around the first lap in 15th. Managed to work my way up to 13th, having an epic battle with Wyatt McGreggor for the last few laps.

Finished P13 overall, which was great. I was happy with my fitness and strength as I was able to maintain my lap times throughout the races and smash my Hawkstone International position and lap times.

Thanks, as always to the team, team sponsors and all my personal sponsors.
