Sunday 8th October saw Team rider Reuben McNally make the trip to Polesworth for the eighth round of the Wilden MXC Winter Series. With Storm Darragh being faced by the riders it was sure going to be tough time for all competing.
After three races we saw Reuben take 7th overall for the day and 8th in the Championship. Here is how the day went for Reuben.

Race 1 – The track was unreal some great lines after the adults had ridden round. It was dry the wind was drying the track out nicely and I felt good and was raring to go. The race got underway and I got a great start out of the gate and quickly found myself in the middle of the pack. Each lap I felt more and more confident and held on to a 5th place finish when the chequered flag was shown.

Race 2 – The rain came before the second moto and although it wasn’t heavy as yet the track started to get sticky and very wet in places. However I still felt good and got a good start once again. I pushed the best as I could but was a little weary of the bottom part of the track where a large puddle had started to appear making the track real slippy and I really didn’t want to come off the bike. The ended the race in 7th.

Race 3 – For the third and final race the track was now really wet in places and I felt I could push, but after a very close call I managed to save myself and the bike from being led down in the mud. My confidence took a hit and I slowed with the wind and wet conditions as I just wanted to finish the race and I took 7th place when I crossed the finish line. I finished 7th overall and took 8th in the Championship with Wilden MXC.
