7th overall in Youth 125cc Class at 2026 Weston Beach Race for Theo Brown

This weekend was the RHL Weston Beach Race. I went into the weekend prepared with strong ambitions and expectations of myself, but came out with an even better result. Top 7!!

After putting the bike into parc ferme Friday night, Saturday morning came round pretty fast. The nerves were pretty high standing at the gate waiting for it to open. The gate opened at 9.a.m and chaos was unleashed. I managed to get my bike started and to gate 2 within the top 50. I got down to the final sand gate in around 40th. The final gate dropped and we set onto the straight. I was quite far back but started making moves as soon as I got to the end of the straight I started making moves.

I got to the finish at the end of lap 1 in P26, but this was just the start. I kept pushing and by lap 5 I was into P20. The track was tough, but I was starting to settle in and really get to drips with it. I kept on pushing until my first pitstop 30 minutes in.

I was in P15 but dropped to P17 after a quick fuel up. I stayed in P17 for 4 laps before progressing into P14, past those who were stopping once I pushed harder and harder until my final pitstop. I was up to P12, but after an hour and a fuel up I dropped to P14. For the last 30 I gave it everything I had. having loads of fun, sending the dunes and railing the ruts. By the finish line I had pushed myself into P12 O/A and P7 125s!

It was the ride of my life and couldn’t of gone much better for me. What a way to finish a great year. Roll on 27!
